Rain, jazz and honey

Mon May 18, 2009, 8:36 AM
  • Mood: Delighted
  • Listening to: I try - Macy Gray
  • Reading: job posts for Canada
  • Watching: numbers being added to the new budget
  • Playing: life!!
  • Eating: granola bar
  • Drinking: cold, fresh water
Today is a GORGEOUS day. It is a cloudy, fresh morning after an entire night of rain. I love it!!! every cell in my body thrills in this weather. :w00t:

Of course, jazz is the way to go. Maybe some blues thrown in there too :tunes: Ah, if I could enjoy a cup of tea with natural honey while I listen to these women with deep, strong voices surrounded by a piano and a sax!! That's what I'm making myself as soon as I get home for lunch.

:meditation: Today I can touch, if only with my fingertips and for a brief instant, the cosmic nirvana of my life. It's one of those moments of clarity where I remember my dreams and desires, and shake routine off, for it is dangerously comfortable. And while it seems to go slowly, it is decieving and goes by faster than we think, so before we know it, we have drifted away from our true destinations, from our longed for adventures. But oh, the beauty of a mind clear as the sky after a rainstorm!! it allows me to wake up from the numbness of a safe routine, look at my compass and change direction. :plotting:

Here's, once more, dreaming of adventures, of distant lands, of hidden treasures and secrets, of a life walking across this wonderful world of ours with the man I love :date:

As captain Sparrow said: "and now, bring me that horizon." 8-)

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?
